Workplace Counselling
Support for the working parts of life
Work takes up a significant part of many people’s lives, and what happens there ripples through everything else. Minds Support Network offers workplace counselling for participants navigating work stress, career transitions, workplace relationships, returns to work, or the ongoing balance between working life and everything else.
What Workplace Counselling May Cover
Sessions can focus on managing workload and pressure, communicating in professional settings, navigating change or difficult dynamics, planning career transitions, and returning to work after time away. We also support people navigating neurodivergent experiences in the workplace, including masking, communication challenges and workplace adjustments. Sessions are shaped around what the participant brings on the day.
How It Is Delivered
Workplace counselling is delivered by qualified counsellors on our team via secure video call, voice, or messaging. Sessions can be booked one-off, weekly or fortnightly, and can also be scheduled around a working day.
Who This May Suit
Anyone in employment, self-employment, or between roles. This includes participants preparing for their first job, people navigating a career change, those returning to work after a break, and anyone finding the workplace side of life demanding.
What Participants Often Find
- Clearer thinking about next steps
- Practical strategies for tough workplace moments
- Greater confidence in making workplace decisions
- A healthier balance between work and personal life
- A space to talk without office politics
- Support that fits around a working schedule

Onboarding, Assessments, Recommendations, and Additional Service costs
Our team takes time to review your information and complete an Initial Therapy Assessment and Recommendation. This helps us ensure your therapy plan is built around your needs and goals. This also may include a brief call with a member of our team. The assessment is charged at $156.16 (AUD).
From time to time, we may also complete a review assessment to check that your goals and plan are still relevant. These are charged at the hourly rate of the type of therapist conducting the assessment.
Our session fees cover your therapy, reasonable work, coordination and correspondence. Where these duties go beyond this time, additional charges may apply. This includes things outside of session such as clinical questions, calls, plan-changes, and repeated coordination requests for example. You will be informed when an additional charge will take place. Full details are set out in our Additional Services Policy and our Schedule of Fees.

Session Times
Sessions run any day, time and duration of your choosing. Simply let us know in the registration form.
No long term commitment
If you wish to cancel at any time, let us know 48 hours before the next scheduled session. (All Group or Weekend Programs require 2 weeks cancellation notice.)
Program of Support for Group Sessions
Groups and Weekend Programs are delivered under a Program of Support (PoS).
This helps us provide stable, consistent group experiences while factoring in planning, therapist time, group structure, and outcomes more effectively, while giving families peace of mind around costs and scheduling.
Even if a participant misses a session, they will still be charged for the session supporting continuity, structure, and engagement for everyone involved. Read more about a PoS.
Set-up, Technical Issues & Reporting
Online platforms require occasional setup. Internet dropouts or technical issues may also occur. Our therapist takes notes during sessions, which is factored into the session duration. A small portion of each session will be spent on these necessary activities.
