Work as a therapist with Minds Support Network
All that you need to perform the sessions are:
- Fluent spoken & written English
- Strong internet connection
- Laptop or PC
- An expected level of IT experience
- Platform / console
- Strong reliable internet
- A good quality headset
- A private space to provide therapy
- A GREAT friendly attitude and a desire to help others!
All our programs and services are 100% virtual which means:
- Work from home for every session
- Manage your own day / week
- No traffic jams or wasted personal time commuting
- Control your own workload with sessions offered at all times
- Create a schedule of between 5 to 30 hours each week
- A supportive team
What does a Minds therapist do?
Counselling (or Psychotherapy) sessions are ran an Accredited Counselling Therapist who is accredited with ACA/PACFA as a Counsellor or Psychotherapist. Ideal for those looking to improve mental health and work towards their goals.
Art Therapy sessions are ran by ANZACATA accredited art therapists. Art therapy is great for expression and creativity.
Psychologist (Psychology) sessions are ran by an Accredited Psychologist with AHPRA. Ideal for those who have been requested for more intensive therapy that can only be provided by a professional and qualified Psychologist.
Speech Therapy (Pathology) sessions are ran a Speech Therapist (Pathologist) accredited with CPSP and helps participants improve communication, language and understanding.
Occupational Therapy sessions are ran by an Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA. This form of therapy helps improves daily living, independence and sensory regulation.
Social Work sessions are ran by an accredited (AASW) Social Worker. They may help navigate social resources across various supports including advocacy and accessing networks
How to become a Minds Support Network therapist
Accreditations
- Counsellor / Psychotherapist – ACA (Level 2+) or PACFA
- Art Therapist – Accredited by ANZACATA
- Psychologist – Registered with AHPRA
- Speech Therapist – Registered with CPSP
- Occupational Therapist – Registered as an OT with AHPRA
- Social Worker – Registered with AASW
- Developmental Educator – Registered with DEAI
Requirements
- Online interactive platform experience
- Operate as an independent therapist (ABN)
- Working With Children Clearance (Or equivalent)
- Police check
- Insurance
- Proof of registration/accreditation
- Proof of qualification
- NDIS Screen (We can supply a registration ID)
- 2 references
- NDIS training module (We can supply the link to complete)
If you are successful you will receive an agreement prior to commencing with Minds Support Network.
What does a Minds therapist do?
It is expected that you run your own private practice under your own ABN or run a similar business. It is also expected that you already have your own insurance, updated accreditations and any necessary clearances. You operate as a sub-contractor for Minds Support Network and invoice us weekly for the services provided.
